Haven Winter Coat Drive

November 4, 2021

The Haven is in its sixth year partnering with the fine folks of Do Good Cville to provide individuals experiencing homelessness with warm layers as we move into the cold winter months.

Please note that The Haven cannot accept donations of coats directly at their building on East Market Street due to lack of storage.

After sorting all of the donations received at community drop-off locations, The Haven will co-host an event at The Pavilion on Friday, November 19th, where guests of The Haven, along with any interested community members, can grab the coats and winter accessories they need.

So, break out those coats (and gently-loved scarves, hats, sweaters, and gloves!), and plan on dropping them off at one of the following locations between November 1st – 14th:

  • The front porch at 1204 E. Jefferson Street
  • Champion Grill
  • Champion Brewing Company
  • Shenandoah Joe Coffee Shops
  • Random Row Brewery
  • Three Notch’d Craft Kitchen and Brewery
  • Lazy Parrot Backyard BBQ

More ways to get involved with the Winter Wear Drive

On Wednesday, November 10th, join The Haven and Do Good Cville at Random Row Brewery from 5:00-8:00 p.m. as we gather to celebrate this year’s Winter Wear Drive! Bring items to donate, chat with Haven staff, get swag, learn ways to support The Haven, and enjoy some brews with pals!

Throughout the entire month of November, Random Row will be donating proceeds from the sale of their Cranberry Gose beer! Be sure to give this fall flavor a whirl in support of The Haven Day Shelter.

Questions? Send an email to Ocean Aiello.
