Our first ever Halloween Storytelling and Costume Parade event will be this Saturday (Halloween!) from 4pm to 5:30pm in the backyard of 1107 East Jefferson Street.
The storytelling portion of our program will start promptly at 4pm. We’re offering FREE organic donuts from Carpe Donut to people who arrive on time (while supplies last).
The costume parade begins at 5pm and is open to all the kids. At the end of the parade, each kid will get a bag of Halloween candy.
We encourage children and adults to tell stories at this event. The themes for the stories are mysteries, coincidences, and other true spooky tales.
Stories should be 3-5 minutes long and appropriate for all ages. Respond to this email or text Denise Stewart at 434.825.8738 to sign up to tell a story if you want to be sure to have a spot!
Bring a chair or a blanket. As always masks and social distancing are required. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided.
In the event of questionable weather, please check this website.
