Planning Commission Meetings
The Charlottesville Planning Commission has reserved the following dates — if the Commission requires additional deliberation before making a recommendation to City Council.
- October 4, 2023, at 5pm, at CitySpace, 100 5th St. NE, Charlottesville, VA 22902 (to attend virtually, register here)
- October 10, 2023, at 5:30pm, in the Council Chambers, 605 E Main Street, Charlottesville, VA 22902 (Regular Planning Commission meeting). A registration link for attending this meeting virtually is not yet available. It will be posted on this page when it becomes available.
Providing Comments During the Meetings
For October 4
Public comment will be accepted in writing at the meeting, or by emailing comments to creasym@charlottesville.gov during the meeting
For October 10 (if needed)
Public comments will be accepted during the “Matters from the Public” agenda item during the meeting
Relevant materials are available for viewing on the City’s meeting page, or can be obtained, upon request, from the Department of Neighborhood Development Services, 2nd Floor of City Hall, 610 East Main Street.
City Council Meetings
City Council will also be holding work sessions to discuss various aspects of the draft Development Code and Zoning Map.
The first work session was on September 27, 2023. Additional work sessions are currently scheduled for the following dates. Please see the website for more information about the meetings.
