Take the Tree Survey by May 24

Have opinions about the City’s green spaces and how best to manage and protect them? Of course you do, so please take the brief Urban Community Forest Survey to share your thoughts, hopes, and advice for City planners. This is an important opportunity to weigh in on the future of our urban forest. Please complete the survey before 11:59pm on May 24.

And after you submit your response, PLEASE scold City Planners for using an out of date map showing Charlottesville’s neighborhoods. It’s not a good sign that City Planners haven’t gotten the “news” that Little High is NOT a part of the Martha Jefferson neighborhood. This change went through a long time ago. If you have any uncertainty that Little High is indeed an independent neighborhood, see the City’s own website for confirmation:
