In-person early voting in Charlottesville officially began today (September 22, 2023) and will run through Saturday, November 4.
Early Voting will take place in the Office of Voter Registration during regular business hours, 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Hours will be extended until 7:00pm on Thursdays during the Early Voting period. The Voter Registration Office will also be open on two Saturdays, October 28 and November 4, from 8:30am to 5:00pm. The office is located at 120 7th St NE, City Hall Annex, First Floor.
- Curbside voting will be available for qualified voters, such as those with disabilities and voters who are over 65.
- Any voter wishes to request a mail ballot may do so by submitting a Vote by Mail Application to the Voter Registration Office by Friday, October 27 at 5:00pm.
- Registration for the November General Election closes on Monday, October 16.
- All polling locations will be open from 6am to 7pm on Election Day, Tuesday, November 7.
