Neighborhood writer and musician Luke Foster has put together something entirely new and genuinely wonderful: the Autumnal Shed Show Series which is four weekly free outdoor concerts continung on Nov. 16 from 5-7pm-ish. The shows will all be held outdoors at the Shed at 301 Farm Lane, 22902, (just off of East Jefferson between 12th and 11th Streets) so please bring a lawn chair or something else to sit on.
This concert series is intended to honor local songwriters, nurture community, and uplift causes we care about. The concerts are free and open to everyone but each week’s performer has chosen a nonprofit group they want to support for those so inclined.
All shows Sundays 5-7pm(ish). Here is the list of performers and the nonprofits they want to support:
-
- Nov 16 – David Jaffe
(Chesapeake Climate Action Network)

Passionate singer, great harmonica player, and all around world-class front man Waverly Milor will team up with amazing slide guitarist Jack Roy to put on the best electric blues performance east of the Mississippi.
The next Little High neighborhood backyard concert will be held Tuesday, July 18, 7:00pm in the backyard of 1118 Little High Street.
Waverly Milor has been enormously helpful in getting our neighborhood concerts going and sustaining them at a high level over the past three years both with his own excellent musicianship, remarkable talent as a performer, and his generously volunteered behind the scenes logistical and technical support.
