Neighborhood Concert Tuesday, July 18
The next Little High neighborhood backyard concert will be held Tuesday, July 18, 7:00pm in the backyard of 1118 Little High Street.
- Deep Blues, standards, extraordinarily gifted singer, harmonica player and entertainer Waverly Milor will be joined by guitar virtuoso Ken Farmer.
- Luke Foster plays “discerning songs situated somewhere between the peril and beauty of the human condition… with a whole lot of comic relief.”
This is a great lineup!
Waverly Milor has been enormously helpful in getting our neighborhood concerts going and sustaining them at a high level over the past three years both with his own excellent musicianship, remarkable talent as a performer, and his generously volunteered behind the scenes logistical and technical support.
Luke Foster‘s amazing performance last summer was one of the nicest surprises our concert series has ever had. Few of us had heard him play and didn’t know what to expect. He was amazing. You don’t want to miss him.
Missing Outdoor Cat
A semi-feral neighborhood cat whose home base is just off the intersection of Meriwether & 12th streets has been missing since Monday night. He’s very reliable about showing up to be fed so this is a long absence for him. The cat is male, silver gray, and named Percy. Percy is in good health and generally savvy about staying out of the way of cars.
One possibility is that he may have wandered into a garage or shed and gotten trapped inside. Please check your out buildings that aren’t frequently opened just to make sure Percy hasn’t accidentally been trapped inside.
If you have any information about Percy, please contact Ann at 434-466-2768.
