The last backyard concert of the year will be held Tuesday, August 29, at 7pm sharp, at “the Farm.” The Farm is located at 1201 East Jefferson Street (between Farm Lane & 12th Street).
Admission is FREE
EVERYONE is welcome.
Performers include:
- The Angst City Rain Dogs (pictured below) will play a short set that includes covers of songs by the Grateful Dead, Patty Smith, the Cowboy Junkies, Tracy Chapman and more. The ACRD are fronted by the amazingly talented Johnel Childress (the fire), anchored by Drew Robinson (the ice), and frequently led astray by Jon Rice (the luke-warm water).
- Brian Keena will do a solo set of many wonderful songs.
- Brian Keena (guitar and vocals) and Michael Bednar (upright bass) will play and sing some of the great jazz standards and more.

Tonight’s neighborhood concert has been CANCELED due to rain. We will reschedule this particular group of musicians (Brian Keena, Michael Bednar, and the Angst City Luddites) and publicize the new date soon.
The next Little High neighborhood backyard concert will be held Tuesday, July 18, 7:00pm in the backyard of 1118 Little High Street.
Waverly Milor has been enormously helpful in getting our neighborhood concerts going and sustaining them at a high level over the past three years both with his own excellent musicianship, remarkable talent as a performer, and his generously volunteered behind the scenes logistical and technical support.
